Professional experience
Thanos began toying around with computers over 30 years ago and, despite his best efforts to give up the habit, he still does. He is interested in Ideation, Innovation, Technology, Operations, Venturing, and everything in between. For Thanos, building things is the best way to understand how things work. He runs the Athens-based mbriyo business incubator and teaches at SDA Bocconi. Aside from a brief stint consulting at CTP, Thanos has spent his career founding a number of successful companies in the US and in Europe, most notably AlphaDetail Inc. He earned a BSc from MIT in Computer Science, an MS in Computer Science from UCLA, and a PhD in Operations and Technology Management from UCLA with the aid of an Onassis scholarship.
