Professional experience
Stan is responsible for all product management and development within NoteSwift. Stan’s 25-year career spans all software development functions as well as product management and marketing.
Prior to NoteSwift, he was Vice President of engineering at RSA, a security division of EMC, within the enterprise solutions group. In this role, he was responsible for development of all server side technologies, including both authentication and identity and access management products. In addition, Stan was responsible for all centralized engineering functions including, Tech Pubs, Release Engineering, User Experience, and the Performance Team. Before joining RSA, Stan was co-founder and Senior Vice President of R&D at Nuance communications. Before Nuance, he was the Vice President of R&D at Xerox Imaging Systems. He has also held leadership or engineering positions at Stardent Computer, Wincor Nixdorf (formerly Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme, AG) and Hewlett-Packard (formerly Apollo Computer).
Stan holds an M.S. degree in Math / Computer Science from U. Mass Lowell, and a B.M. from Berklee College of Music in Boston. The rumor among those in the know, is that Stan is an award-winning, charting, independent songwriter, performer and composer of music for film/TV posing as a high tech industry executive.
