Professional Experience

Alex Moukas is one of Velti’s co-founders. He has been Velti’s Chief Executive Officer and a director since its inception in 2000. He previously co-founded, and served from 1998 to 2000 as the Chief Scientist of Frictionless Commerce, Inc., a privately-held, strategic sourcing software provider in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which was later acquired by SAP AG. Mr. Moukas holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Computer Systems from the American College of Greece, an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, and an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
