Professional experience
Mr. Thanasis Iatrou Co-Founded Media Excel Inc., in 2000. and served as its Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Iatrou has over 18 years of management experience in the High Tech industry.
Prior to Media Excel, he was with DELL Computer, where he served as General Manager (G.M.) of DELL’s UK Midsize Corporate operation; subsequently he moved to DELL Americas where he managed the Midsize Corporate division’s Marketing Operations and completed his tenure in DELL’s Corporate Enterprise Services. Prior to DELL, he also worked for FUJITSU Computers Europe as Vice President of Business Development in EMEA, and also served as its Vice President and General Manager of Client Server Systems Asia based out of Singapore, General Manager of Network Products Division based out of the UK and Director of Mergers and Acquisitions participating in transactions from $10m to $1bn. Mr. Iatrou serves as a Director of Media Excel Inc.
He received an M.B.A. from Aston Business School in the UK, where he specialized in International Marketing, and a B.Sc in Physics from Athens University, where he studied Optoelectronics.
Mr. Iatrou is a native of Greece and an avid scuba-diver.
