Professional experience
Myladie Stoumbou is the Director of Developer Evangelism and Experience (DX Lead) in Microsoft Hellas.
She studied Computer Engineering and Informatics in the Polytechnic School of the University of Patras in Greece, and she holds a post-graduate title in “Economics and Management” from Athens Information Technology.
She joined Microsoft three years ago in the role of Enterprise Solution Sales Manager, where she was responsible in promoting and selling Business Solutions to Microsoft Enterprise customers in various industries. Five months ago she was assigned the DX Lead role, where her main responsibility is to promote cutting-edge technology adoption (cloud and mobility as per Microsoft’s global strategy) in the local broad ecosystems of students, developers and startups. She is leading the team of Technology and Business Evangelists who offer technical and business mentorship to the startups incubated in the Microsoft Innovation Center in Athens and she is also responsible for BizSpark, Microsoft’s global program for supporting startups to grow.
Before Microsoft, Mrs Stoumbou has worked in senior positions in big Greek companies, namely SingularLogic, Velti and Intracom, mostly in sales and business development positions in Greece and in the SEE region. She has 20 years of professional experience and is keen to offer mentoring to young entrepreneurs in the areas of validating their business ideas, identifying and measuring the potential target markets as well as of branding their idea/company and of presenting value for their customers.
