Professional experience

Sentio is developing Artificial Emotional Intelligence to change the way we manage Mental Health. Their first product, Feel – Word’s first Emotions Sensor & Mental Health Advisor – is an emotion sensing wristband and app that coaches people suffering from stress, anxiety and depression to achieve greater emotional well-being.

Under his leadership the company has grown to 20 employees and has raised almost $2 million dollars from few of the top investors in the world in health and life sciences (SOSV, Anthemis Exponential Ventures etc.).

Prior to founding Sentio, George was a management consultant with McKinsey and Cisco in New York and London, with expertise in Big Data and Analytics. During that time, he gained significant experience of working with C-level executives and Fortune 100 clients in a variety of industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail and Financial Services.

He has a background in Engineering and Business, and holds 3 Master’s degrees including a MSc in Management Science & Engineering from Columbia University.

George is a pioneer of the Mental Health tech space and a frequent speaker at leading global conferences (TEDx, Launch SF etc.) and Universities (Stanford, University of California etc.).
