This is the 1st edition of MITEF Greece Startup Competition.

MIT Enterprise Forum Greece announced the opening of the first-ever MITEF Greece Startup Competition, a technology accelerating competition, in which local technology entrepreneurs will compete for prizes and global recognition that will further their startup goals. Based on the principle of “fair play”, this competition aims to unlock the growth potential of Greek startups and maximize their performance in order to scale faster and reach the global market. The 25 semifinalist startups/teams spanned a diverse range of disciplines: 10 startups in internet & web, 4 in biotechnology & medicine, 3 in software, 3 in transportation, 1 in telecommunications, 1 in Computer & Electronics Hardware, 1 in energy, and 2 in other categories.

The 3 winners of MITEF Greece Startup Competition for 2015:

1st Prize winner: RTsafe

2nd Prize winner: reportbrain Limited

3rd Prize winner: Advantis (former tomoTECH)
