Professional experience
Babis Pandis is a co-founder and Partner at Bluehouse. Bluehouse is a private equity platform operating in central-eastern and south-eastern Europe since 2004; its focus is investments in commercial and hospitality properties. He’s been involved in international fund raising, as well as investment and asset management for transactions in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus and Poland.
From 1992 until 2004, Babis was a Partner at Hellinotechniki, a leading Greek development and construction management services firm, being involved on office, residential, retail, entertainment and hotel projects. During this time, he also acted as an expert for the Greek Ministry of National Economy and the European Commission, in connection with major infrastructure projects financed by the EU’s Support Frameworks between 1993 and 2000.
Babis received a MSc. in Civil Engineering degree from MIT in 1992, and a Diploma of Civil Engineering from NTUA in 1990. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (UK).
