International Womens’ Day
Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. EMBASSY ATHENS, Suzanne Lawrence, and Katerina Saridaki, Executive Director of MIT Enterprise Forum Greece, met with 25 women entrepreneurs, tech innovators, and business leaders in honor of International Women’s Day at Microsoft Innovation Center Greece.
The participants provided advice and support to one another, with the conversation focused on some of the biggest challenges women business leaders face and how to best overcome obstacles in the business world. Peggy Antonakou, Managing Director of Microsoft Hellas, and pitching coach Linda Plano, Founder Plano & Simple & MITEF Greece Startup Competition’s coach, shared their insights with female team leads taking part in the MIT Enterprise Forum Greece Startup Competition and other community events: Zoi Giavri, CEO & CSO at Advantis (former TomoTECH), Eleni Barla, Founder & CEO at Among Doctors, Alkisti Zina, Co-founder of Bluperty, Anna Chlioura, Co-founder & Marketing Manager at Elektronio Handcrafted Vehicles, Anastasia Hadjichristofi, Founder of ECOverified, Anna Kassimati, Co-founder & Managing Director at isMOOD, Magy Kontou, Co-founder & Head of Operations at tourismart, Aigli Korfiati, Co-founder & Product Development at InSyBio Ltd. and Katerina Santikou, Co-founder at Workathlon.
