MIT Enterprise Forum of Israel announced two $100K startup challenges
The MIT Enterprise Forum of Israel, Recanati Business School of Tel Aviv University, US Department of Defense Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO/TSWG), and Israel Ministry of Defense Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D) welcome you to the 2016 Combating Terrorism Through Technology challenge program.
Following on the highly successful 2015 program, this year, they have two separate $100K startup challenges:
Challenge 1 is for Mobile Apps, that may be useful to law enforcement and other counter-terrorism authorities
Challenge 2 is for any other combating terrorism technology, that help detect, prevent, or respond to terrorist attacks (both physical and cyber)
Each challenge has $100K in no-strings-attached prize money, contributed by the US Department of Defense (CTTSO/TSWG).
The challenges are open to any open to any startup, entrepreneur, inventor, or university research group developing innovative technologies that could be useful for combating terrorism or homeland security.
