Due to several requests MIT Enterprise Forum Greece received and considering the Christmas holidays, the organizing committee has decided to extend the application submission deadline for 10 more days. The new deadline is set on December 30th, 2015 (23:59 GMT). All eligible teams will now have additional time to complete their full and final applications for MITEF Greece Startup Competition.

The 25 semifinalist teams, which will be selected by our judges at the end of January, will have the opportunity to work intensively with mentors during a 3-month period (February-April 2015). More specifically, these teams will be assigned to local and international mentors and attend free workshops, that will further their startup goals, such as: Perfect Pitch, Legal Advice, Communication, Marketing, Finance and Tax, Human Resource Development. MITEF Greece’s local and international strategic partners, such as the law firms POTAMITISVEKRIS and Foley & Lardner LLP, EY, V+O Communication, Κorn Ferry-Hay Group and Plano & Simple, will run those extensive workshops. During this period participants will have the chance to improve their business skills, gain hands-on knowledge and valuable input, network in Greece and abroad.

The 3 final winners, who will be announced on June, 2016, will compete for prizes and in-kind services worth over 100,000 euro in total. Among the in-kind grants are: legal counseling in Greece and the US, financial services etc. Most importantly, MITEF Greece Startup Competition offers a unique opportunity to gain global recognition, as winners will be celebrated through the MITEF global network.
